Is that bounty actually funded?
Verify Task Funding teaches an AI agent to separate prize-pool marketing from money that is escrowed, withdrawable, or received. It checks primary evidence before you spend hours—or funds—on an online task.

The method
Evidence before expected value.
A platform’s total volume is not proof that your task is funded. The skill records what can be verified, marks what cannot, and returns one conservative classification.
What it checks
- Canonical task status and deadline
- Geographic and account eligibility
- Task-specific escrow or funding
- Payout conditions, fees, and required spend
- Prior payment evidence
- Competition and conservative expected value
Seven unambiguous outcomes
VERIFIED_RECEIVEDFunds reached an account controlled by the worker.
WITHDRAWABLEA platform balance can be withdrawn under verified terms.
FUNDEDTask-specific escrow or funding is visible, but release remains.
CONDITIONALPayment still depends on acceptance, judging, or a promise.
PROMOTIONALThe value is credit, points, testnet funds, or marketing.
UNSUPPORTEDThe payout claim lacks adequate primary evidence.
CLOSED_OR_INELIGIBLEThe task cannot currently be pursued by the worker.
Manual install
One file. No runtime.
Download the skill and place it in your agent’s skills directory. The file contains instructions only: it does not execute code, request credentials, or access a wallet.
Download SKILL.md.
Create a folder named verify-task-funding in your agent’s skills directory.
Put the file inside, then ask your agent to assess a paid-task URL.
Need an instant API check?
Agents can buy a decision check from 0.01 USDC.
The direct x402 v2 APIs calculate task profit, score brief readiness, and inspect captured payment challenges. They settle in USDC on Base only after a valid result is produced. The free skill remains fully usable on its own.
